Future Rowers

So you fancy experiencing ocean rowing before committing to the entire project – it’s perfectly reasonable and it has to be as close to the reality as possible.

If traveling/ flying to Bucharest or Constanta is a comfortable and economic option to you and your pals then we can guarantee you proper rowing conditions in 98% of the cases, since our boat can directly access a 6km long water surface protected by wind – Limanu lake – where you can test the boat, the gear and the navigation equipment.

You’ll also test a Rossiter Ocean 2 pure-class boat with 2 Atlantic Ocean crossings under the belt, well maintained and fully fitted.

Don’t be fooled by the count-down: you’ll have to stay focused for the whole 48 days.

Skippered by Alex Dumbrava (RYA and Ocean Rowing courses, Black Sea crossing record holder and Atlantic rower) which could also offer ocean rowing related insights and answers to most of your questions, the boat can accommodate up to 5 crew members. Transfers, accommodations, indoor training and courses and many other activities may be arranged during your stay in Romania. Book in advance to guarantee the boat availability.
